20 Questions // Book Tag

Here I am, at 6AM making a blog post before I go to Disney. I've done nothing but book reviews these last couple of days and so I wanted to do something different today. I'm just trying to make my blog fun. I'm probably failing... oh well.

How many books are too many for a series?

I feel like it really depends on the book/series. Sometimes, a series can feel too long. For example, the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands. This series has 31 books so far. Each book is based off different side characters. How many times can you write the same story over and over?

I feel like fantasy series can last up to about eight books before I get tired of the story. Romances, in my opinion, should only have three books (if they are a series).

How do you feel about cliffhangers?

If it's a book in a series, I love them. I feel as if it makes me more excited to pick up the next book. Now, if it's a standalone, it better wrap up and not have me trying to figure out what's gonna happen in a book that's not gonna happen.

Hardcover or paperback?

I prefer hardbacks. They look nicer on my shelves and I love getting surprised by the naked book!

Favorite book?

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas. This book has become my all-time favorite book. I freaking love this book!

Least favorite book?

Eh. This is kind of a hard question. I'm just going to list my least favorite book of 2020 so far. That's Everless by Sara Holland. I was not a fan of this story..

Love triangles, yes or no?

I'm a fan of trashy drama, so yes!

The most recent book you couldn't finish?

Recently, I've been able to finish all the books I have started. 2020 has been a great reading year for me so far!

A book you are currently reading?

Sea Witch by Sarah Henning. I'm listening to this via audiobook. I'm enjoying it, it's going fast! Prisoner of Silk by Lidiya Foxglove. This is my physical read and I'm kinda not loving it >.>

Last book you recommended to someone?

I gave my sister a copy of A Court Of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. That counts as a recommendation right?

Oldest book you've read by publication date?

I honestly have no idea. It's too early to try and research books right now...

Newest book you've read by publication date?

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas <3

Favorite author?

Sarah J. Maas.....

Buying books or borrowing books?

Since I like owning the books I read, I would definitely say buying books.

A book you dislike that everyone seems to love?

Again, Everless by Sara Holland. I just found that book so boring.

Bookmarks or dog ears?

A book you can always reread?

The Turning by Jennifer Armintrout. Blood Rights by Kristen Painter.

Can you read while listening to music?

It's funny, I used to not be able to read while listening to anything. Now I can listen to anything while reading!

One POV or multiple?

Multiple. I feel like I read multiple POVs faster.

Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?

Most of the time, it's multiple days. I'm a mom with a full-time job. I don't have time to do the one sitting thing.

Who do you tag?

Everyone who reads this tag!

  1. […] It feels like I haven’t done a book tag in a while and lately, I’ve been really busy, so I haven’t had much time to do much of anything. So when I saw Tiffany do this tag, I thought it would be fun. So here we are. You can find her answers over at her blog here. […]
